Cotton canvas is topped with water-proof waxed canvas on the second layer with multiple pockets.

Care instructions: These aprons are washable. The waxed canvas will lighten in color and lose the waxiness a little bit more with each wash...but it can always be re-waxed if of interest.  Washing in cold and drying without heat will also extend the life of the wax.
